As part of its now live Black Friday Week sale event, Amazon is offering the latest Xbox Breaker series special edition controllers for $49 shipped. All three models – Storm Breaker, Ice Breaker, and Heart Breaker – are at $49, down from their usual price of $80. These gamepads briefly dropped to $50 earlier this month at Lenovo with a promo code that died too quickly for anybody to jump in, but today’s deal knocks them down a touch lower to mark a new best price to beat with a 39% discount. These new Breaker Series gamepads bring fresh new designs to the already popular Xbox controller that’s available in a bunch of different colors. The Ice Breaker variant features a frosty glacier-blue finish with a translucent shell, while Storm Breaker opts for a sleek mix of black, white, and silver. The Heart Breaker unit, on the other hand, brings the boldest look of the bunch with vibrant pink and purple tones accented in blue. The Storm Breaker model is the only one equipped with a metallic D-pad and a fully opaque shell, and the other two use the standard D-pad beneath a translucent top. These controllers are identical to the standard model when it comes to the overall specifications and the internals, meaning you get full support for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Android, and iOS over Xbox Wireless or Bluetooth. You also get a 3.5mm headset jack and full customization through the Xbox Accessories app for remapping, trigger adjustments, and vibration tuning.
If you’d rather get your hands on an Xbox Elite 2 Core controller, Best Buy is currently offering it in red for $100. That’s down from its usual going rate of $140 and the lowest we have tracked for it this year. PlayStation 5’s DualSense limited edition controllers are also discounted to their lowest prices at $64 as highlighted below:
