Target has now officially released a preview of its upcoming main event Black Friday sale. The retailer previously unveiled some details on its month long event including a complete deal schedule for its early sale, the Deals of the Day, and the official November 27 start time of its main event Black Friday sale. But it has now issued an official press release detailing the upcoming details and when they will go live – the deals are going live this weekend.
When is the official Target Black Friday sale this year?
Target previously stated that its Black Friday sale “starts online Thursday, November 27 and in stores Friday, November 28,” and while we are expecting deals then too, it appears to be switching things up according to today’s new information.
The retailer is now promoting what it calls a Black Friday Week sale – this is perhaps in response to the now live Amazon Black Friday Week sale and the official Ian event at Best Buy. While it has been offering new Weeklong Black Friday deals all month starting every Sunday, today’s press release makes it sound like its official main event is starting on Sunday: “…it’s turning Black Friday into more than just a shopping day.”
Target says its Black Friday experience is running from Sunday November 23 through November 29, 2025.
While we will have to wait until this weekend for Target’s main event Black Friday Week sale, some of the most sought-after deals are now already live at Amazon and elsewhere:
