Apple’s most affordable current-gen iPad just dropped to $280 for Black Friday week

As part of its now live 2025 Black Friday Week sale, Amazon has now dropped Apple’s most affordable current-generation iPad down to $279.99 shipped. Head below for more details.

Amazon is now offering the iPad (A16) in the blue colorway down to $279.99 shipped, landing within $1 of Amazon all-time low pricing. At the time of writing, only the blue variant has dropped this low – the other colors are sitting at $299. 

This is a regularly $349 Apple tablet that is now starting at one of the lowest prices we have tracked to date. While it’s certainly not one of the more powerful M series models in the lineup, we are still talking about a current-generation iPad you can now land at under $280. 

As of right now, the lowest price you’ll find on an Apple Intelligence-compatible machine is the iPad mini 7 starting at $399, while the most affordable M series model is now the 11-inch M3 iPad Air that has now dropped down to $449 for Amazon’s Black Friday Week to deliver $150 in savings on the usual $599 list price. 

So again, while the iPad 11-inch isn’t the highest-end, top-notch model in the lineup, it does indeed deliver some serious bang for your buck when it comes to casual users or just landing a modern iPad release for the whole family without breaking the bank.
