Amazon’s official Black Friday week sale is set to kick off very soon, but it is getting a head start on some of its latest in-house tech. The very first deals are now live on its brand new Echo Show 8/11 and Echo Dot Max, and we just spotted a new all-time low on the most affordable new Amazon Kindle Colorsoft at 32% off.
Amazon is now offering the 16GB Amazon Kindle Colorsoft reader down at $169.99 shipped. Regularly $250, this is the most affordable model in the lineup seeing a solid 32% price drop to deliver the best price we have tracked all-time.
This one dropped to $200 for the Prime Big Deal Days event in early October, which, at the time, was the lowest we had tracked on this model. But the newer, less pricey model with no ads is down at the lowest rate to date for Black Friday 2025.
As detailed in our launch coverage, Amazon debuted a new, more affordable version of its color-display Kindle this year (as opposed to the Signature Edition that released previously) and it has now dropped to its best price ever. The main difference between the two, outside of the price of course, is the 16GB of storage compared to 32GB, the auto-adjusting front light, and wireless charging. But if you don’t mind all that, this one is now $110 less.
