We featured the first notable discount on the new 2025 flagship Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen) earlier this week, but Amazon just knocked the price down to a new all-time low on the black set at an impressive $99 off

While just about all major retailers, as well as the official site, still has these new buds at $50 off, or $249, Amazon just knocked the black Bose New QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen) down to $199.99 shipped.

Regularly $299, we did not expect to see this brand new flagship set of Bose buds drop a full $99 this early in the month. While there was always a chance we see these buds at $100 off for Black Friday, and we might very well see the rest of the colors follow suit direct and at more than just Amazon, as of right now, the official Black Friday price we expected this year is now already live.

The rest of the colors, including the new Desert Gold, are currently selling for $249

Here’s a quick rundown of the feature set on these things at a glance:

  • Wireless charging out of the box
  • Up to six hours of battery life in the buds alone
  • Charging case holds up to three additional charges
  • 20-minute quick charge for up to additional 2 hours
  • Capacitive touch controls can now be toggled off in the app
  • Bluetooth Core 5.3 multipoint connectivity)
  • Low Complexity Sub band Coding (SBC)
  • Google Fast Pair

These new 2nd Gen wireless buds were officially unveiled in summer 2025, shortly before we had a chance to test them out for ourselves for review. I have been using these buds for listening to music, team meetings with the 9to5 squad, and so forth for just under 2 months straight now – I’m really liking these things. They sound great and are quite comfortable to wear too.

They largely just take what was great with the last set and add some minor tweaks while taking the active noise cancellation experience to new heights in the process. But you can get a complete look at the user experience in detail right here.

Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen) features:

  • WORLD-CLASS NOISE CANCELLATION: The best noise cancellation of any Bose wireless earbuds is now even better than before. ActiveSense technology smooths spikes in surrounding sound, so even in Aware Mode distractions won’t get in the way.
  • CUSTOMTUNE TECHNOLOGY: CustomTune technology analyses your ears and adapts your in-ear headphones to their shape. The result? World-class noise cancellation and custom sound for bigger chills every time you press play.
  • QUIET OR AWARE MODE: Get full noise cancellation with Quiet Mode. Or turn on Aware Mode with maximum transparency to hear your surroundings. Immersion Mode blends noise cancelling with Bose Immersive Audio for the realest listening experience.
  • IMMERSIVE AUDIO: Bose Immersive Audio spatialises what you’re hearing by taking it out of your head and placing it beyond your Bluetooth earbuds. It’s like listening from the acoustic sweet spot, where songs sound like the artist intended.
  • SECURE FIT AND STABILITY: Choose from nine combos of eartips and stability bands to find the snuggest fit for comfortable earbuds. The soft, umbrella-shaped tips seal the opening of your ear to reduce outside noises while stability bands hug them.
