Outside of some of the leaked PlayStation Black Friday plans, we are still awaiting official word. But in the meantime, Sony has now taken to the official PlayStation Blog to officially announce this week’s next State of Play.
Next PlayStation State of Play goes live tomorrow
Landing right on Singles Day 2025 (the gigantic November 11 deal holiday that is wildly popular overseas), Sony has now announced a special State of Play Japan that will go live tomorrow.
While this showcase is specifically geared towards gamers in Japan and Asia, it will presumably have a ton of updates and announcements gamers on this side of the pond can get excited about.
Sony said the next State of Play will go live on November 11, 2025 to deliver roughly 40 minutes of games created in Japan and across Asia, “alongside a few other exciting updates.” It goes live at 2:00 p.m. PT/5 p.m. ET.
The show will be hosted by voice actor Yuki Kaji and feature everything from “beloved series to distinctive indie creations” – it will be “packed with great games, interviews, and new looks at anticipated titles.”
Sony says the Japanese PlayStation YouTube channel will feature a full Japanese-language version while the PlayStation YouTube channel will feature the Japanese audio with English subtitles.
The official stream has yet to appear on the official YouTube channel but we will update this post when it goes up.
