As part of its updated Samsung monitor sale, Woot is offering the brand’s latest 27-inch Odyssey G6 (G60SF) 500Hz OLED gaming monitor for $609.99 Prime shipped (a $6 delivery fee will apply otherwise). This particular model hit the scene a few months back as the ‘world’s first 500Hz OLED’ gaming display carrying a $1,000 price tag. It’s rarely seen any notable discounts since then, but today’s Woot deal changes that with a massive $390 price drop. This is the lowest price we have tracked for this monitor to date, and the same monitor, in case you’re wondering, is currently fetching $800 and $900 directly at Samsung and Amazon, respectively. The highlight of this monitor, as you would’ve probably guessed by now, is its QD-OLED panel with support for up to a whopping 500Hz refresh rate. It’s a QHD (2,560 x 1,440) resolution display with an ultra-fast 0.03ms (GTG) response time, and this model also comes with a VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification along with NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for smoother, tear-free visuals. Samsung also says it’s a Pantone Validated panel, which means you can expect it to have highly accurate color reproduction, and some of its other highlights include Samsung’s OLED Safeguard+ protection to prevent burn-in even during extended use, CoreSync and CoreLighting+ for added immersion, and more.
