The national retailer will be kicking off a month long savings event starting Halloween day and rolling right through November with a mid-month event starting on November 17, followed by the main events thereafter. When does the Costco Black Friday sale start?
Costco, much like we have seen from some other retailers this year, will be running a month long savings event. Things will kick off on October 31 with its Holiday Savings through November 16. And then it will start up another batch of discounts on November 17 before its online-only Thanksgiving sale on November 27, and opening doors back up on November 28 for Black Friday.

Is Costco open on Thanksgiving 2025?
As expected, Costco will not be open on Thanksgiving this year. According to the ad scan we have here today, the warehouse retailer will close its brick and mortar doors on Thursday, November 27, 2025 in observance of Thanksgiving. Online shopping will of course be available and the stores will be open on Black Friday proper.
