Amazon’s Fire TV Stick 4K Plus is better than the new model and now even less at $23 (Undercuts Prime Day)

Alongside the reveal of the brand new Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Select model that went up for pre-order last month, Amazon changed the name of the standard Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K to Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Plus – same mid-range 4K model, just with a new name. It carries a $50 list price, but Woot is now undercutting the Prime Day deal at just $22.99 Prime shipped. 

Don’t be confused with the name of this unit on Woot, you’re looking at the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Plus here down at $22.99 with free shipping for Prime members (a $6 delivery fee will apply otherwise). That’s 54% off and undercutting the current post-Prime Day $30 offer on Amazon. 

We saw this model drop to $25 for Prime Day in early October to deliver a solid 50% in savings. But Woot has that deal beat out today to deliver the best price we have tracked all year in brand new condition. Unlike some of its particularly notable discounts, Woot is actually shipping this unit with a proper 1-year Amazon warranty. 

The only real difference between the new Fire TV Stick 4K Select model and the Plus we have on sale here today is Amazon’s new VegaOS that runs on the new Select, and people aren’t too stoked about that. 

It doesn’t really matter anyway because the newly named Plus model is now a whole lot less pricey anyway and it runs on the Android base just about everyone wished the new one was on.
