There’s been a couple trends in power bank design over the last couple years – see through form-factors that show off the internals and onboard displays. The new Lenovo 140W Smart Laptop Power Bank has both of them and it’s making its way stateside as a listing has just appeared on Amazon.
Similar models to the new Lenovo 140W Smart Laptop Power Bank we have here today were first spotted overseas much earlier in the year, but it appears to have made landfall in the U.S. recently and is now available for purchase on Amazon.
As the name suggests this is a 140W laptop-ready power bank with a design somewhere between the latest Anker Prime gear and something we have seen from brands like Sharge.
A sort of steel gray outer frame encases the internal 20,000mAh battery alongside a 3-port setup – two USB-C ports cable of up to a 140W max output and a USB-A jack for legacy devices. Lenovo says the power bank can fuel a 14-inch MacBook Pro to 46% in 30 minutes when using a single USB-C port.
As mentioned above, it’s really all about the design here, or at least it is for me. The top third of the power bank’s facade houses a 2-inch TFT display that “shows real-time data on remaining battery capacity, power input, and power output.”

Just below that you’ll find a a clear viewing window of sorts that gives you a look at the actual internal inside of the power bank – I really like the look of this from the imagery here. It just appears to give you a much deeper and more complete look at what’s inside compared to the small, almost port-hole like vibes on some of the competition.
It carries an $89.99 list price on Amazon, putting right on par with relatively comparable options from brands like Anker – it is listed as temporarily out of stock but you can lock one in now. Lenovo says it ships with a 5-foot 240W USB-C cable as well.
