Best Buy now offers up to $800 off M5 MacBook Pro w/ trades + extra 10% for members

Yesterday we detailed some of the notable trade-on values Best Buy was offering towards the new M5 MacBook Pro. Apple’s latest starts at the same $1,599 this year, but, as we reported yesterday, you can knock as much as $800 off with an M4 trade and now Best Buy is delivering an additional 10% in trade value for its Plus and Total members. Details await below.

M5 MacBook Pro pre-order deals

For those with some Amazon store credit or some gift cards saved up from the many promotional offers we have featured over the last month or two, pre-orders on the new M5 MacBook are live there as well:

  • M5 MacBook Pro 16GB/512GB $1,599
  • M5 MacBook Pro 16GB/1TB $1,799
  • M5 MacBook Pro 24GB/1TB $1,999

But if you have gear to trade for one, you can bring the price down significantly with Best Buy’s enhanced trade-in values. That, on top of the fact that it is now promoting an additional 10% in trade-in value for its paid My Best Buy Plus and Total members, can yield as much as $880 off the base model M5 MacBook Pro – that can bring the price down to $719 shipped

You will find the trade-in options at Best Buy on the M5 MacBook Pro listings pages and in the cart once the new machine you’re after has been added.

Here’s a quick rundown of the trade values before you factor in the bonus 10% for members:

For more examples and details on the various trade-in values Best Buy is offering select machines, you’ll want to visit our initial trade-in feature right here. And remember to check what Apple will give you for trades as well – Best Buy tends to get quite aggressive for the first couple weeks of a new Apple release, but it is always a smart idea to get a quote straight from Apple as well.
