Stop lugging around your Switch 2 dock, this mini charger connects you to the big screen in 4K for $40 [Launch deal]

There’s not very many travel-ready charger docks for Switch 2 out there, but this new JSAUX option is ready to connect you to the big screen anywhere. Yes, you can just lug around the sizable Switch 2 dock to make it happen anyway, but that’s not exactly the most compact or convenient way to make it happen – the new OmniCentro Charger Dock for Switch 2 is about the size of an average wall charger and you can score an early pre-order deal on it at $39.99 right now.

JSAUX – a relatively well-known budget-friendly brand in the Switch 2 accessory business – has loads of add-on gear out there for Nintendo’s latest console. But the new OmniCentro is arguably one of the most useful for folks looking to take their Switch on the road without lugging around the official dock.

Coming in at about the size of your average wall charger – it’s bigger than those tiny 20W models, but not quite as large as the ultra-powerful 96W+ variants if that gives you a better idea (59.9×47.4x31mm), the OmniCentro is a hybrid charger and dock for Switch 2 (and many other handheld gaming rigs).

It is essentially a wall charger-meets-Switch 2 dock that features HDMI 4K output so you can link your Switch 2 to the big screen, a 65W USB-C host charging port, and an additional 3W USB-A port for charging some smaller devices if needs be. The HDMI port supports 4K@60Hz output with a 18Gbps bandwidth that also comes compatible with older HDMI 1.1/1.2/1.3/1.4/2.0b connections. Here are the charging specs at a glance:

  • Supports fast charging up to 62W (5V/3A, 9V/3A, 12V/3A, 15V/3A, 20V/3.1A) for devices.
  • Charging Protocols: PPS, PD3.0, QC3.0, BC1.2, AFC, FCP, SFCP, Apple 2.4A, PE2.0. • USB-A: Provides 5V/0.6A (3W) for peripherals.
  • Simultaneous Output (USB-C + USB-A): 62W + 3W.

And here’s a look at the video output specs:

  • 4K@60Hz HDR, 10bit RGB 4:4:4, backward compatible to 4K@30Hz
  • 2K@120Hz HDR, 10bit RGB 4:4:4, backward compatible to 1080P@120Hz
  • Color Depth: Supports up to 10bit YUV 4:4:4 for vivid visuals.

All of that looks good and well to me, but the real point is that you can secure a compact charging Switch 2 dock for $40 right now so you don’t have to carry around the Nintendo dock everywhere. It will begin shipping in mid-November.
