UGREEN was among the first to roll out its Qi2.2 25W chargers, joining brands like Anker and ESR in bringing the new standard to market. We’ve already tested its Qi2 25W 2-in-1 MagSafe charger and its 10,000mAh MagSafe power bank, and now, we’re taking a closer look at the MagFlow 3-in-1 Qi2.2 25W MagSafe wireless charging station. This has now become my go-to bedside charging station to power my iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods. I’ve been using it on my nightstand for the past couple of weeks, and here’s a detailed look at how it’s held up.

gadgetnewsonline’ Take
Unlike the MagFlow 2-in-1 charging station we checked out earlier, which reused the design of its older 15W Qi2 counterpart, the new 3-in-1 version we’re looking at here is a completely new entry in the brand’s lineup, sporting a new design. It features a foldable 25W Qi2.2-certified charging pad with dual hinges, allowing you to fine-tune the viewing angle while charging. Beside it sits an AirPods charging pad with a grippy rubber base to keep the AirPods charging case in place while charging. New to this updated model is an Apple Watch charging puck that sits at the back and neatly pops out from the body when in use and retracts when not needed. This charger is finished in the same sleek sky-blue tone as the rest of the MagFlow lineup, and it looks great overall when sitting at your desk or the bedside table.

There’s a 25W Qi2 logo on the main charging pad, which can now deliver up to 25W output wirelessly to your iPhone or other compatible devices like the Pixel 10 Pro XL. This unit even ships with a 45W USB-C charger and a 3.3-foot cable that plugs into the USB-C port at the back of this model, leaving another 10W USB-C port next to it free in case you want to plug in some other accessory. There’s a blue LED that lights up once you place either an AirPods charging case or your phone on it to tell you the charging status.
I tested this charger with an iPhone 16 Pro (running iOS 26 for Qi2.2 25W speeds), an Apple Watch SE 3, and AirPods Pro. In terms of charging speed, the iPhone 16 Pro went from 5% to 50% in just over 30 minutes, which is pretty quick. The Apple Watch and AirPods charging pads both deliver 5W output — the SE 3 took around 75 minutes to go from 10% to full, which is consistent with other 5W chargers I’ve used. I’d like to add that both the phone and the charging pad got warm to the touch during charging. It’s not entirely a surprise, considering these new Qi2.2 25W chargers tend to put out a lot of heat while charging, and it’s more prominent here as it lacks active cooling. I haven’t really found a use for the 10W USB-C port yet, but it could be handy for powering smaller accessories like an Apple Pencil or a mouse when you’re short on outlets.

One thing I wish UGREEN had added to this charger is some form of active cooling with a built-in fan. Both ESR and Anker’s new MagSafe chargers include active cooling to help manage heat, which can be an issue with Qi2.2 25W units. While this charger does have safeguards to monitor temperature and prevent overheating, an active cooling system would’ve made a noticeable difference. I also wish UGREEN had included a small display — not just to show charging status and power output, but maybe even to feature fun custom animations or emoji faces like those on its Uno series. Maybe the brand is saving those touches for future Uno models, but it would’ve been a nice addition here, in my opinion.
Overall, the UGREEN MagFlow 3-in-1 Qi2.2 25W charging station is worth considering if you’re looking to upgrade your desktop or bedside charging setup and tap into the new Qi2.2 25W wireless speeds. It may not have extras like a display or active cooling found on some competing models, but it delivers dependable performance to keep all your devices powered up – whether you’re charging overnight or using it at your desk during the day.
