Update: Pre-orders are now live on the Echo speakers and displays:
Today could be a big day for the Amazon Devices team as it is set to take the stage in NYC to reveal what appears to be the next-generation of Echo devices (likely some Kindle and Fire TV action too). While much of its current lineup of Echo smart speakers and devices, as well as some Kindles and the Fire TV Sticks are already seeing as much as 50% price drops as part of the early Prime Big Deals Days sale, the next-generation models appear to be on the horizon, and we will know all about them this morning.
Amazon device event 2025 – New Echo gear, Fire TV, Kindle, more?
Amazon did a host a dedicated event for Alexa+ earlier this year and we did get a Kindle showing in 2024, but it has been a couple years since it took the stage to reveal all-new Echo gear. While we aren’t sure exactly what’s going to be on display here today, judging by the teaser key art (seen above/below) and the fact that it already hosted an event this year specifically for Alexa software, it stands to reason there’s going to be some hardware in the limelight this morning.
Amazon has, in year’s past, unleashed a large collection of new in-house tech during September events, and it looks like that’s exactly what we are in for here today.

Judging by the aforementioned key art above, we are clearly looking at some kind of new Echo reveal, the device in the bottom right is surely a Kindle of some kind, and in the bottom left, one can only assume we are going to be getting into the Fire TV space as well.
The event kicks off at 10 a.m. ET from Tribeca in NYC this morning, and we will be updating this post with all of the live updates from the event as they happen:
