Update: This deal is now live again on the 1TB iPhone 15 Pro Max at $750 off the original list price (and the price of the comparable 17 Pro Max). Details below in the original post.

iPhone 17 is about to go up for pre-order in well under 24 hours now, but if you’re not jumping on the new Air or Apple’s cosmically orange Pro models Amazon has lowered prices on both the iPhone 16 Pro and now the 15 Pro Max too – the 1TB model is $750 off the original list.

For some, landing an iPhone that’s two generations back certainly isn’t an exciting proposition, but for others saving $750 on a perfectly good 15 Pro Max with seriously upgraded storage is a steal.

Amazon’s Renewed Premium iPhone 15 Pro Max with 1TB of storage has now dropped to $849 shipped. This is an originally $1,599 device that is $750 less unlocked and shipped straight from Amazon – this is also $50 better than our previous mention and includes a 1-year Amazon warranty.

If you were to go and pre-order a new iPhone 17 Pro Max tomorrow morning, the most affordable 256GB option will cost you $1,199 – $350 more than the 1TB 15 Pro Max – and a 1TB 17 Pro Max sells for $1,599.

The 15 Pro Max is certainly no 17 Pro Max, we get it. But for folks who just don’t care about the latest and greatest or perhaps just won’t put it to good use, saving the price of a new iPhone 17 on the top-the-line model for a couple years ago can deliver a ton of value.
