Apple unleashed its new MagSafe Clear Case for iPhone 17 and iPhone Air – they look more or less the same as they always have and you can already score them on sale at Amazon. The new Apple clear models for iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, however, are a new thing all together – this year they feature a somewhat divisive white color block along the back (seen above on the left). I personally don’t mind it, if you have the Silver iPhone 17 Pro/Max anyway, but if you hate it like some folks, elago’s totally clear and MagSafe clear models are now seeing launch deals on Amazon from under $12 Prime shipped

As you can see in the list below, the iPhone 17 Pro elago models are both seeing some light launch deals – the iPhone 17 and iPhone Air models are as well. While the 17 Pro Max model is not on sale for these two clear options, we are already talking about a super affordable case that comes in at well under Apple’s.

Are these cases going to be of the same quality as the official Apple models? Not quite in my experience, but very close. All things considered, the clear case category might be the best one to save a buck or two on, just try to stick with the recommended brands to avoid extreme yellowing after extended use.

And just for comparison, here’s how the clear Apple case launch deals work out right now:

elago clear iPhone 17 Pro case features:

Every elago Hybrid shell is sketched, prototyped & tested under one roof—no cookie-cutter molds—so it hugs your phone like a glove, looks premium, and stands up to daily abuse. Rigid polycarbonate back + shock-absorbing TPU bumper team up to crush drops, dirt, dust & oily smudges for the iPhone 17 Series; an elevated camera guard keeps every lens crystal-clear for pro-level photos.
