Spigen debuts new Alpine Loop-style Apple Watch Ultra 3/2/1 band, now marked down to $22

Earlier this spring, Spigen unleashed one of its more compelling Apple Watch Bands. The now $22 Spigen Athlex band is in many ways a far more affordable take on Apple’s own Trail Loop and today as we are taking a look at its new WBF1 Alpine Loop-style band you can score on Amazon for $22 Prime shipped

Spigen has long been one of those more affordable accessory brands that often times delivers gear much better than the price would suggest. The aforementioned Athlex Apple Watch band is a perfect example of this – it has been very popular among readers, is one of the more comfortable fabric straps I use on a regular basis, and it just landed in our 2025 favorite band collection for the new Series 11 and Ultra 3 (it also works with previous-generation models).

All of that said, Apple’s official Alpine Loop remains one of my personal favorite sporty bands, but it’s going to cost you with a $99 list price. So when I spotted the new Spigen Alpine band alternative, it immediately caught my eye.

Anyone familiar with the Apple Alpine Loop will also spot the resemblance here right away. The Spigen model features a “lightweight fabric” construction with side stitching details in orange to match the Apple Watch Ultra itself as well as laser engraving and a hook-style buckle that’s a dead ringer for Apple’s G-hook – Spigen even uses the sort of rippled dual textile layers to connect the hook closure after adjusting it snugly onto your wrist.

Features at a glance:

  • Soft, lightweight fabric ensures long-lasting comfort for everyday use
  • Side stitching and precise laser engraving create a bold, premium look
  • Reliable hook buckle provides a snug, adjustable fit that stays in place
  • Reinforced edges and sturdy fabric withstand daily wear without losing shape
  • Fits wrist sizes of 5.5″ – 10.2″ (140mm – 260mm).

Look, I don’t particularly love the idea of brands ripping each other off like this, but I do like the idea of not having to spend another $99 on a different color Alpine Loop if I can get one from a relatively trustworthy brand for $22 Prime shipped as well. It’s not likely to be of the same quality as Apple’s, but it is also a fraction of the price.

The new Spigen WBF1 Alpine Loop-style band is ready for Apple Watch Ultra 3/2/1 in three different color treatments: black/black, black/green, and black orange. I’m not particularly stoked on the dual color treatments here personally, but the black/black looks really nice to me, especially at $21.99 Prime shipped.
