Corsair just unleashed an insanely lightweight gaming mouse at just 36 grams, score the new Sabre V2 Pro now

Corsair is following up Logitech’s G Pro X2 Superstrike launch with a new wireless mouse of its own – the Sabre V2 Pro. Unlike Logitech’s new model that packs in rapid trigger and haptic feedback tech, this one keeps things simple and focuses on weight. It’s an insanely lightweight mouse that weighs just 36 grams, making it one of the lightest gaming mice available for competitive gamers. The Sabre V2 Pro is now up for grabs in black and white colors, and you can score one now for $99.99 shipped. Head below for a closer look and more details.

Corsair’s Sabre V2 Pro weighs 36 grams

There aren’t many options that come in under 50 grams, and the selection is limited to a handful of mice from brands like Finalmouse. Sony’s recently launched Inzone Mouse-A, for example, weighs just 48 grams. That’s why Corsair’s new Sabre V2 Pro stands out as a unique entry in this space. What’s particularly good about this model is that they’ve managed to achieve this ultra-lightweight design without relying on a honeycomb shell full of dust-collecting holes.

Despite its lightweight design, Corsair’s new Sabre V2 Pro hasn’t cut many corners. It comes with a 33K DPI sensor and supports 8,000Hz polling to let your PC register a movement or input at 0.125ms. It packs a 210mAh battery, which the brand says can last for up to 70 hours on a single charge when used over a 2.4GHz wireless connection with its default 1,000Hz polling rate. The Sabre V2 Pro, in case you’re wondering, has a symmetrical shape, but it’s particularly aimed at right-handed users with two thumb buttons on its left side. Other noteworthy features of Corsair’s new gaming mouse include bundled grip tape for the main buttons and the sides, a browser-based web app to let you configure its DPI, macros, and other settings, and more.

The Corsair Sabre V2 Pro gaming mouse, as previously mentioned, is now up for grabs. You can get it in black and white colors, both of which will cost you $99.99 shipped.
