Target officially announces massive weeklong fall savings event to take on Prime Day

Just Amazon made its fall Prime Big Deal Days sale official this morning, Target is now ready to take it head on. As per usual, Target is also looking to get in on the fall Prime Day action with a  members sale of its own.

While other retailers, like Target, Best Buy, and Walmart clearly can’t technically get in on the Prime Day savings for Prime members, they can, and very much do, run member sales of their own and typically right on top of the Amazon events.

This year, Target has now officially announced its Target Circle Week sale to take on Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days event, and it will once again start even earlier.

When is the Target Prime Day sale?

Well as mentioned above, it’s not technically a Prime Day sale at Target but the Circle Week event is effectively the same thing and it will start two days ahead of Amazon on October 5 and right on top of and through the Prime Day sale until October 11, 2025.

Do you need to be a paid member to access Target Circle Week?

You need to be a member, but Target Circle is completely free. This is perhaps one of the main benefits Target offers over Amazon – but I guess just about everyone is already an Amazon Prime members anyway.

You can sign up for Target Circle for FREE right here and this will provide access to all of the deals that are set to go live starting on October 11.

Early access to Target Circle Week

All of that said, you can gain early access to the Target Circle Week ofers on October 4, 2025 with a “the retailer’s paid membership program” known as Target Circle 360.

Today’s Target Circle Week announcement also joins official details on Target’s amped up holiday savings thereafter as well.
