Pre-orders for Nintendo’s real-life Rosalina’s Storybook from Mario Galaxy now live at $25

As part of last week’s big September Nintendo Direct and the Mario 40th anniversary celebration, the new Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 bundle was announced for SWitch and Switch 2 alongside the official reveal The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. However, Nintendo also announced a special collectible to go along with both of them – Rosalina’s Storybook – pulled straight from the game and brought into real life. The new hardcover book is set for release in a couple months and is now available for pre-order at Amazon.

Rosalina’s Storybook comes to life

In Rosalina’s library in-game, you can read a story book, as anyone who has played the Mario Galaxy games will know, that now features new pages in the latest re-released versions of the games, and you will soon be able to bring into your game room.

Nintendo has decided to bring the new story book to life with publisher Dark Horse in the form of a new real-life hardcover collectible. While the actual real-world book won’t include the new pages found in game, it is a “beautiful hardcover volume” loaded with nostalgia for fans of the series. It features a cover design pulled straight from the game alongside the 112 pages of “the actual art and story from Super Mario Galaxy.”

Our story begins a very, very long time ago with a young girl who spotted a rusted spaceship holding a small star child, Luma. This is the tale of that young girl and that star child going on a great journey together, searching for one thing and finding something else altogether. This is the tale of Rosalina and the Lumas and the secret of their special bond.

The official Nintendo hardcover Rosalina’s Storybook is now available for pre-order on Amazon at $24.99 with free shipping for Prime members or in orders over $35. It is set for a November 25, 2025 release and comes covered by the Amazon Savings Pre-order Price Guarantee:

Amazon’s price for not-yet-released items sometimes changes between the time the item is listed for sale and the time it is released and shipped. Whenever you pre-order an item eligible for Pre-order Price Guarantee, the price we charge when we ship it to you will be the lowest price offered by Amazon.com between the time you placed your order and the end of the day of the release date.
