Apple’s new iPhone 17 lineup now supports faster 25W wireless charging, but you’ll need one of the newer Qi2.2-certified chargers to unlock those speeds. A wave of fresh Qi2.2 options debuted at IFA this year just before the iPhone 17’s debut, including the UGREEN 2-in-1 MagFlow charging station we’re checking out today. I’ve been using it as my daily charger for the past few days, and here’s everything you need to know about it if planning to scoop one of these up.

gadgetnewsonline’ Take
UGREEN’s new 25W MagFlow Qi2.2 charging station builds on its earlier 15W Qi2 model, carrying over the same folding design with dual hinges that let you really dial in the viewing angle while charging. While the key update is under the hood, with faster 25W speeds, you can tell the difference between this new one and the older model visually, as it now comes with a sleek sky blue finish instead of the darker grey of the original.
There’s also a 25W Qi2 logo on the main charging pad, which can now deliver up to 25W output wirelessly to your iPhone or other compatible devices like the Pixel 10 Pro XL. The UGREEN MagFlow 2-in-1 charger ships with a 3-foot Type-C cable that plugs into the USB-C port at the back of this model, leaving another USB-C port free in case you want to plug in an Apple Watch puck.

Out of the box, you can use this new MagFlow 2-in-1 charger to power both your iPhone and an AirPods charging case simultaneously, though you can connect an Apple Watch puck on the side for 3-in-1 charging action. There’s a blue LED that lights up once you place either an AirPods charging case or your phone on it to tell you the charging status. UGREEN recommends using a 45W adapter to get the best charging speeds, and it’s worth noting that it’s not included in the package, unlike the Qi2 15W 3-in-1 MagFlow model which included a 30W unit in the box.
As for the charging speeds, I’ve had no issues topping off my iPhone 16 Pro and AirPods Pro charging case on this 25W model. It’s worth pointing out that the 16 Pro model is capped at 15W Qi2 speeds for now until the iOS 26 update rolls out, but I’ll have more to share on the charging speeds and in my full Tested review once the update finally rolls out. Apple’s iPhone 17 models, however, should have no issues hitting the full 25W wireless charging speeds out of the box.

This new 25W 2-in-1 MagFlow charger is now up for grabs, and the brand’s official Amazon storefront is also offering a 25% discount on it now, down at $44.99 shipped for Prime members.
