LEGO is about to boldly go where it has never gone before after officially confirming new Star Trek sets

After being leaked several months ago, with early renders surfacing online thereafter, LEGO has now officially confirmed the upcoming LEGO Star Trek set(s). Taking to its official Instagram feed this morning, LEGO has posted a short teaser video with a look at what has to be a Captain Picard minifig and text reading Coming Soon in Klingon.

New LEGO Star Trek sets confirmed

“Set your phasers to build,” LEGO is about to “boldly go where no one has gone before.”

We previously got a look at what many felt was early renders of the Star Trek Enterprise LEGO set complete with a large cast of beloved characters from the series. But it is now official and Star Trek is definitely coming in brick-built form.

The official teaser doesn’t give us a ton to go on here, but that is clearly Captain Picard from The Next Generation and that is clearly Klingon text reading “coming soon.” Check it out below:

The previous leaks showed off the Star Trek: USS Enterprise (10356) set with 3,600 pieces alongside a host of minifigs – Picard, Riker, Worf, Geordi, Data, Dr. Crusher, Wesley Crusher, Troi, and Guinan. It is rumored to be launching on November 28 at $299.99. Nothing has been confirmed here outside of today’s official teaser.
