As part of its ongoing Labor Day sale, Amazon is offering 8BitDo’s new Mecha Break-themed Retro 87 TKL keyboard for $89.99 shipped. This model first launched back in June with a $120 price tag as part of the brand’s Retro 87 lineup, which also includes other popular models like the Xbox Edition keyboard. Today’s 25% discount knocks $30 off its regular price, bringing it down to the lowest we’ve seen yet. This 8BitDo Retro TKL model is the result of an official collaboration with Mecha BREAK: PANTHER, and it has a custom finish on top of a frosted see-through shell. Like the rest of the Retro TKL lineup, it’s compatible with both Windows and Android and supports tri-mode connectivity – via Bluetooth, 2.4GHz wireless via dongle, or USB-C. The Tenkeyless layout on this model features a dedicated button in the top-right corner for instant Game Bar access, along with customizable Super Buttons. Under the hood, it uses Kailh Jellyfish Pro switches on a hot-swappable PCB, paired with durable doubleshot ABS keycaps finished in matte UV. Rounding out the feature set of this keyboard are a top-mount build, RGB lighting, and more.
