Get an ‘exclusive new look’ at Resident Evil: Requiem

Resident Evil: Requiem has been one of the more popular reveals of the summer around here, and we now know when you’ll get another good look at the game. While it isn’t schedule to actually hit store shelves until early next year, one of the more highly-anticipated titles of 2026 is set to take center stage once again, and very soon at that.

After a total head fake from Geoff Keighley and The Game Awards crew during the massive summer showcase, this year’s Summer Game Fest 2025 capped off with surprise look at the next entry in the long running survival horror franchise.

We then detailed everything we know so far about the new game in a feature post that carries that debut trailer alongside details from a series of behind-closed-doors experiences, but the game will see the light of day once again with what is being described as “an exclusive new look”

Right after Nintendo revealed Hollow Knight: Silksong will be live at its booth for gamescom, Keighley has taken to X to reveal that Resident Evil: Requiem will be live for the opening night ceremonies – this is not a playable demo but rather another on-stage look at the game everyone can enjoy whether they can make it to Cologne, Germany later this month or not.
