Alongside its new flagship Ranger 3.0 Pro e-bike, Heybike has given a parallel launch of its new Mars 3.0 Folding Fat-Tire e-bike at $1,199 shipped. It will be carrying a normal $1,299 price tag once these launch deals cool. Like the Ranger 3.0 Pro, this model is seeing a first-time $100 markdown that cuts a little extra savings on an already low-priced ride – especially when considering its upgraded design and features. It comes with three colorways over the predecessor’s four (goodbye grey), but leaves that model in the dust with all the higher-quality features getting packed in, which you’d expect to raise the price, but the company is maintaining accessibility. You can learn about its Ranger 3.0 Pro counterpart deals here, or check out our original launch coverage at Electrek.

Heybike’s new Mars 3.0 folding e-bike is a model designed for more thrill-seeking riders, sporting the brand’s new Galaxy Perform eDrive System that combines a 750W rear hub motor (peaking at 1,400W) with 95nM of torque (supported by a torque sensor) and a removable 624Wh battery. This combination gives it a pedal-assisted range of up to 65 miles on a single charge (up from 45 miles) with a 0 to 20 MPH acceleration in six seconds that can go further to 28 MPH top speeds. Like its Ranger 3.0 Pro counterpart, this model is now sporting a TFT display that provides NFC start-up functionality, giving you the means to power up the bike by tapping your device to the display.

One other notable upgrade here is the overall 440-pound payload boasted by the bike, which also allows smaller riders plenty of cargo-hauling potential while being more accessible for larger riders. Among its features, you’ll find a hydraulic front suspension fork, a rear Horst link suspension, hydraulic disc brakes, 4-inch puncture-protected tires with fenders, a brake-lit taillight with turn signals, a headlight, a horn, a rear cargo rack, a Shimano Altus 8-speed derailleur, and more.
