As part of the ongoing Prime Day savings, VIOFO’s official Amazon storefront is offering returning low prices on two solid dash cam options, with the more advanced A229 Pro 4K HDR Front and Rear Dash Cam at $239.99 shipped. You’d usually have to shell out $360 for this model at full price, with the discounts we’ve spotted in 2025 mostly keeping the cost down at $300, with some select falls further to $280 and $260. We last spotted this rate popping up back during Christmas sales, with it making its first appearance in the new year during this event, giving you a $120 markdown back to the best price we have tracked.

VIOFO’s well-rounded A229 Pro dash cam is a much better solution than some no-name cheaper option, with the brand carrying a reputation for providing well-rounded driving support. With this package, you’ll be able to equip your vehicle with two SONY Starvis 2 sensors that deliver 2,160p resolution video from the front cam and a 1,440p resolution from the rear – plus, there’s night vision 2.0 tech so details will remain crisp and clear no matter the time of day. There are three parking modes offered through its system (auto event detection, low bitrate, and time lapse), automatically recording upon the detection of moving objects and storing the footage promptly – though, this does require the hardwire kit to activate.

It also comes with a quad-mode GPS module for compatibility with four satellite positioning systems (GPS, BEIDOU, GALILEO, and GLONASS) to gaurantee accurate positioning while you drive, as well as giving you the location, speed, and a timestamp when playing back recordings. You can even go hands-free with controls thanks to the 12 voice commands, including taking photos, locking the video, powering on/off, and much more.

Of course, if you were hoping for a more budget-friendly option, there’s also the less advanced A229 Plus Front and Rear Dash Cam that is back at its $159.99 low, down from $250. It comes boasting the same Starvis 2 tech, with the main difference from the above model being a lower video resolution and less advanced night vision capabilities, but it still provides solid bang-for-your-buck support for your vehicle.

You’ll also find a selection of Vantrue’s multi-channel dash cams benefitting from up to $134 in Prime Day savings for the next few days, with the prices there starting from $100 and going as high as $266 for a 4-channel model. Another handy device that I personally recommend to all drivers is the NOCO GB40 Boost Plus Jump Starter and Power Bank that has saved me from dead batteries and more countless times – plus its seeing a rare drop to $82 for the first time in 2025.
