As part of the ongoing Prime Day sale, Amazon is offering SanDisk’s latest 1TB Creator Pro portable SSD down at $118.99 shipped. This is a fairly new model that hit the scene towards the end of last year as a part of SanDisk’s Creator Pro series carrying a $150 price tag. It dropped to the $125 low a couple of months back in April, but today’s offer for Prime Day shaves an additional $6 off that price to mark a new best price to beat. The 2TB and 4TB variants of this drive are also down to $169.99 and $269.99 shipped, respectively, with up to 23% in savings today. This is SanDisk’s latest portable SSD, featuring a sleek blue design and a slightly different outer shell compared to the drives in the brand’s Extreme Pro series. It’s just as performant as the Extreme Pro models, though, delivering fast read and write speeds of up to 2,000MB/s via a USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 interface. This drive is also available 2TB and 4TB capacities, and they all come with an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance and a complimentary one-month Adobe Creative Cloud subscription.
Lexar’s tiny 1TB Professional Go SSD is also worth considering as it’s down to $110 low for Prime Day. It may not be as fast as the SanDisk drive highlighted above, but it’s a lot smaller and can be used easily with iPhones for shooting high-quality 4K Apple ProRes videos.
