Nomad debuts new Horween leather MagSafe wallet with Apple Find My and wireless charging

Today Nomad is debuting its brand new Leather Mag Wallet – a leather MagSafe wallet complete with Apple Find My tracking tech. The brand already makes my personal favorite Find My wallet tracking card, and recently started bundling it with its traditional leather card holders and bifold wallets with a discount, but today’s reveal combines both into a traditional MagSafe wallet that attaches to the back of your iPhone.

New Nomad Find My MagSafe Wallet

Nomad is one of the best Apple gear accessory makers out there, according to me, and millions of other folks, but it does two things particularly well – leather craft and Find My tracking. Its Find My Tracking Card (which is now back in stock by the way) is one of the best I have ever tested with wireless charging, and its leather wallets and passport holders are gorgeous – here’s my hands-on review of the Nomad Passport Wallet

While I personally prefer to still use a traditional card holder that stows away in my pocket, fans of the MagSafe form-factor for their phone will want to at least take a look at the new Nomad Leather Mag Wallet

It features a premium Horween leather construction – I have one in the office, it smells like an expensive leather jacket if that gives you an idea of what you’re in for here – and mostly traditional form-factor made to stick to the back of your iPhone. Its main carrier pocket holds 1 to 4 standard credit cards.

The back panel carries the onboard magnets and all of the Find My tech. This model supports wireless Qi pad or MagSafe charging and the battery lasts for up to 5 months at a time once fully charged, according to Nomad.

Features at a glance:

  • Holds 1-4 standard credit cards
  • Locate with the Find My app
  • Built with Horween Leather
  • Develops a rugged patina over time
  • Wirelessly recharge on any Qi or MagSafe charger
  • 5 month battery life once fully charged

While my full review will land once I have had a chance to put it to the test for a couple weeks or so – it just landed in my office recently, the first impression takeaway here is this: it is a mostly traditional looking MagSafe wallet with no surprises that just happens to feature a super clean design and a gorgeous leather construction. The Apple Find My integration has thus far been wonderful and I can very much appreciate the wireless charging (I hate those proprietary magnetic cables some of these things use).

The new Leather Mag Wallet launches today and is now available for purchase at $80 shipped
