While Switch 2 consoles have been all but entirely sold out online at major retailers since launch week, Walmart has now confirmed it will have more units up for sale starting next week. Both the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle and the Switch 2 console will be live on line starting June 25, but you’ll want to head below for the exact times and some additional details.
More Switch 2 console to be in-stock at Walmart June 25
Walmart has largely been the best source for Switch 2 consoles online ever since pre-orders went live back in late April. Target and Best Buy participated in the online festivities for launch week as well, and even Amazon had a Switch console listing appear for short time (alongside some official first-party Switch 2 game listings), but we can now confirm Walmart will indeed have units live next week.

Walmart – Nintendo Switch 2 launch
Over at Walmart, both the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle and the Switch 2 only console listings have now been updated with the following message:
Early Access coming soon! Walmart+ paid members can order this item online at 9pm ET on 6/25, while supplies last.
This means that both console listings will go live again on June 25 a 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET for Walmart+ paid members.

If recent “Walmart+ paid member” only listings for other products are any indication, a FREE trial to Walmart+ does not count here – you will need to be a paid member – but we are not 100% sure of this.
The other question we are still wondering is will there even be any left for non-members after the early access period?
Walmart hasn’t specified here, but we have reached out for comment and will update this post accordingly if we hear back.
The listing specifically states 1-hour “Early Access” in a couple different places, so we know the listings will be live for everyone at some point, but it’s hard to say if there will be any left by then if it does happen.
Want 1-hour Early Access to this item? Become a Walmart+ member to shop this item first, starting at 9pm ET on 6/25. T&C apply.
Either way, Walmart+ members are in for a real treat next Wednesday morning, just be sure you are ready to go in order to get into the virtual queue as fast as possible – Walmart has been using the queue system thus far, but we are not sure if it will again.
You can sign up for Walmart+ membership right here – it is $98 per year and will likely come in handy with early access (and many other perks) throughout the year, including its Prime Day competitor sales and Black Friday.
