Happy Switch 2 launch day! Here’s everything Nintendo released today: Games from $15, FREE upgrades, more

Happy Switch 2 launch day folks! I hope everyone has had a chance to secure their pre-orders or took advantage of our midnight coverage to land a console lates last night (don’t worry if you didn’t, there’s more to come tonight). It is a big day for Nintendo and there’s a whole lot more than just consoles being released today, including all of the day 1 launch games, a whole slew of accessories, and much more. So for today’s daily console games feature, we are highlighting everything Nintendo released for Switch 2 launch day.

First up, we want to quickly remind anyone who hasn’t been able to secure a console yet that there is still hope. Costco members are still seeing units available right now and Target is scheduled to have units go up for sale and likely at midnight ET this evening, as we reported previously.

Before we dive into the official hardware, we would also like to remind Switch 2 owners of the new GameCube Switch Online library. Available to folks with a Switch 2 and an expansions pass Switch Online sub, the three launch titles for the new-classic game library are now live and available to play – The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, Soulcalibur 2, and F-Zero GX. That GameCube wireless controller also releases today, but it is still complete sold out at the time ofd writing.

Switch 2 launch day also marks the release for all of the official Nintendo Switch 2 accessories. While we have seen some notable third-party drops hitting as well (you’ll find those below), just about all of the new first-party Switch 2 add-ons are still available and are officially releasing today:
