JBL’s gorgeous new white Authentics Google Home smart speakers hit Amazon lows from $250 ($100 off)

Back at CES 2025, JBL unleashed a gorgeous new white and gold edition of its Authentics Google Home and Alexa smart speaker, and we are now tracking new Amazon all-time lows on both the 200 and larger 300 models. Regularly $350, the 200 variant has now dropped down to $249.95 shipped while the regularly $450 JBL Authentics 300 in white/gold is now going for $349.95 shipped. 

While we did catch a brief drop to $280 on the smaller 200 model previously, but it is now at a new Amazon all-time low with today’s deal. The 300, however, is now seeing its very first price drop to deliver a straight up $100 in savings and the lowest price we have tracked to date. 

For the record, these new white models are otherwise the same as the previously released black/gold variants. Both of which are now sitting at the same price with $100 in savings – we have seen the older black variants fall as low as $200 and $278, respectively. 

If you’re into this sort of style of speaker, you’re likely looking towards the JBL Authentics or something from the Marshall lineup – the next-gen Kilburn III portable speaker with 2x battery life just debuted. And while they are both equally as pretty to my taste, the JBL Authentics has a few things going for it worth considering – built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, AirPlay, Alexa Multi-Room Music (MRM), Chromecast built-in, and Spotify Connect. It also supports both Alexa and Google Assistant voice command action. 

Aside for the extensive connectivity and stereo sound, on the outside you’ll find a leather-like enclosure housing a fabric-like Quadrex grille alongside hits of metal and the cast-aluminum handle.
