GameStop just officially confirmed Switch 2 will be up for purchase online at midnight

We already assumed that Switch 2 would being live at midnight online tonight, but now GameStop has made it official. Best Buy has confirmed it is only offering units in-store tonight, Target said it won’t have units online until June 6, and Walmart has confirmed units will be available on June 5 without quite mentioning the midnight ET start time we expect, but GameStop will for sure.

Most of the big retailers just love to wait until the very last second to give us an actual time big releases will go live, and that has been especially so with Switch 2 thus far.

Target and Walmart have yet to officially mention a time, but you had better be ready at midnight ET on both June 5 and 6 to help ensure you snag one.

GameStop, on the other hand, has just officially announced that its Switch 2 orders will go live at midnight ET tonight (9 p.m. PT/12 a.m. ET on June 5). We already knew it would be taking in-store orders at midnight and that it would indeed have units available online at some point, but now we know for sure it will start at midnight tonight:
