Keep in mind that owners of the previous iteration can score a FREE upgrade to grab the Matter support, but if you’re still looking to score one, Amazon is now offering the latest model down at $64.99 shipped after clipping the on-page coupon. 

Regularly $80, this is nearly 20% off the going rate and one of only a large handful of chances we have tracked to save – it typically only goes on sale during seasonal and holiday events. Today’s deal is within $10 of the lowest price we have tracked. It is also worth noting that while we have seen the HomeKit-only model as low as $39 in the past, Amazon no longer carries that one.

You’ll find Thread technology for quicker and more reliable connectivity in hub-based setups, but another real highlight for me on this unit is the build – the metal housing and onboard looks really nice (there is also IPX4 water resistance and a replaceable battery).
