Here’s the new LEGO sets releasing in May: Star Wars, Marvel, Botanicals, more + GWPs, 2x and 4x points – all from $5

May 2025 is almost here, which means builders are getting ready for all the new LEGO sets poised to release, but with the added bonus of the LEGO Group’s May the 4th offers and promotions. Everyone has been quite abuzz with excitement since the nine new LEGO Star Wars sets were revealed two weeks ago, and now that the clock has nearly ticked over to a new month, it’s time for our monthly rundown of everything that is coming. In total, we have 14 new builds that will be hitting shelves, along with some GWPs, redeemable Insiders rewards – plus, 23 sets that will earn you 2x Insiders Points and 3 sets that will score you 4x Insiders points. Among the many new LEGO sets releasing in May, 2025, the most hotly anticipated set this month is the 75409 Jango Fett’s Firespray-Class Starship that is rendering the ship in Jango Fett’s iconic colors as a USC set for the very first time. This set also comes with the Jango Fett Starship Keychain GWP through May 5 or as long as supplies last.

There are two more GWPs that will be going live from May 1 to 5, 2025. You’ll land the 30708 Millennium Falcon Mini-Build with any purchase over $40 or the 40765 Kamino Training Facility with purchases over $160. And there’s also the three Insiders Rewards that are redeemable with points:

If you’re not that big of a Star Wars fan, there are five other sets that might just tickle your fancy, like the 76323 Avengers: Endgame Final Battle set or the 71049 LEGO Collectibles Formula 1 sets. As a big fan of the Botanicals theme, I’m always happy to see more added to the lineup and the 10347 Petite Sunny Bouquet set is dropping just in time for Mother’s Day!

We also have two mid-month releases to look forward to, officially hitting the market on May 15, 2025. There’s an equally anticipated build in the 72037 Mario Kart: Mario & Standard Kart set that folks have been able to preorder since March, as well as the 31216 Keith Haring’s Dancing Figures set that brings one of the art world’s most recognizable iconography into a brick-built format.
