It’s almost hard to believe, but it looks like Walmart has a decent amount of Switch 2 pre-order stock live again today, this includes both the Nintendo Switch 2 Console and the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle. As we reported yesterday, we heard from an inside source that Walmart in particular would be likely to have more stock inbound soon, and while we couldn’t actually substantiate these claims, it appears they have indeed come true. There’s no telling how long this will last folks – get in there while you can.
It appears as though some folks are indeed getting orders to go through, as Walmart has both the Switch 2 Console and the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle listed as in-stock and ready to order right now. While some folks are having a harder time getting through, we can get them to add to cart and some folks are placing orders today. You’ll want to keep a close eye on these Walmart listings today as it started to drip feed stock yesterday with what appears to be wider availability here this morning.

You’re going to need to stay vigilant here – if it doesn’t work just keep trying. It might require some luck, but just keep refreshing until the pre-order button shines in Mario overalls blue and then whip through checkout as fast as possible – you’ll also need to be logged in to a Walmart account to even get the console to add to your cart, and make sure you have selected the “shipping” option on the listing page (it won’t work any other way from what we can tell as there is no in-store pickup like we saw at Best Buy).
As of right Walmart appears to be the only place Switch 2 Console pre-orders are in-stock as Target, Best Buy, and GameStop are all completely out of stock at this time. It might be worth checking periodically throughout the day at the following links, but it’s not looking good at these retailers:
