We’re halfway through April, with all the latest LEGO releases for this month officially out and on the shelves and today, coming out of headquarters in Billund, Denmark, the LEGO Group is announcing the new wave of building sets ahead of the company’s upcoming May the 4th celebrations. Alongside these new sets – six out of nine even being opened for preorder – we’re also getting the bonus intel on what exclusive experiences fans can expect at the LEGO Star Wars booth as part of this year’s Star Wars Celebration in Japan from April 18-20, 2025, as well as a fun LEGO Ideas opportunity. LEGO Stars Wars day 2025 sets revealed – ‘May the 4th be with you, always’
Arguably one of the busiest times of the year for both LEGO and its fans, this year’s May the 4th event is already promising to be quite the exciting time, with this news dropping two weeks ahead of schedule, giving you plenty of time to plan and even lock down some of the new sets hitting the shelves. It’ll all be available starting May 1, 2025, with one gift-with-purchase option also being announced, giving builders a Jango Fett Starship Keychain available with the purchase of the 75409 Jango Fett’s Firespray-Class Starship set, specifically, while stocks last. There’s no telling what other GWP might be available once the event begins.
What’s more, as previously mentioned, the LEGO Group has announced six of the upcoming nine new sets that are already available for preorder so you can lock down your favorites ahead of their official releases – though one of them has yet to open on the website despite the announcement, so be patient there. You can secure yours today or add them to your wish list in order to prepare for any GWPs that might be available:

Starting today, April 15, 2025, in preparation for the upcoming May the 4th excitement, LEGO Ideas will be hosting a fun opportunity for fans to show off their creative sides and expand the Star Wars universe with their own ideas. The LEGO Group is challenging builders to showcase exactly what they imagine the galaxy’s most infamous bounty hunters do in their personal time within the comforts of their “home.” You can find all the available information by following this link to the landing page.
