As part of the now live Big Spring Sale, Amazon is now offering a host of notable price drops across the lauded ecobee smart home ecosystem. While new entry-level thermostat with the smaller display isn’t seeing any deals today, you will find price drops on its ecobee Smart Thermostat Premium as well as the brand’s video doorbell, sensor packs, whole home security bundles, and more. Pricing kicks off from $60 and we will dive in below.
Firstly, Amazon has now marked the ecobee Smart Thermostat Premium with the Smart Sensor and Air Quality Monitor down to $219 shipped. Regularly $249, this is on par with last year’s holiday pricing and coming within $5 of the Black Friday deal – prices on this sought-after model rarely get much better than that.
The newer, entry-level solution at $130 is worth consideration, but there are some trade-offs in the form of a less premium build and significantly smaller display (it also can’t showcase feeds from other ecobee cameras in your setup), among other things – our review of the newer model is right here.
The Premium setup delivers a gorgeous touchscreen display wrapped in a premium steel outer edge – it is easily among the most attractive smart thermostats in the game if you ask me. It can deliver live feeds right on its display from the brand’s Smart Doorbell Camera and features onboard Siri action – you can call up Siri right on the unit without needing your iPhone handy (it also works with Alexa Google Assistant).
