Electrify your imagination in 2026 and get ready to build something we’ve never built with LEGO® bricks before! LEGO® Pokémon™ is a brand-new collaboration that brings your love for bricks and your love for Pokémon together. In 2026, we’re calling all Pokémon Trainers to get ready to build and catch some of their favorite Pokémon!

LEGO Pokémon is coming! We think anyway. While we can’t confirm with 100% certainty that this one is true, it very much appears as though LEGO just accidentally leaked its upcoming Pokémon collab. Reports surfaced across the internet this morning claiming LEGO just leaked its upcoming crossover with The Pokémon Company by way of a teaser video that has since been taken down – you can check it out below though.

Official LEGO Pokémon teaser leaks

Just after Nintendo officially unveiled its upcoming LEGO Game Boy set, a very similar teaser video of sorts was spotted on the LEGO Mexico Facebook page, according to a user on Reddit that has now uploaded the video right here – it might not stick around for every long so check it now if you’re interested.

The teaser video, which is very much in the same vein as the official LEGO Game Boy teaser that was revealed by Nintendo, shows some renders of yellow bricks doused in lightning bolts before forming into what is clearly the tail of Pikachu. If this is real, and it very much appears to be, LEGO Pokémon is very much coming, and the brick built company can just start printing money now.

While it’s hard to say whether or not the leaked video is teasing a particular set, or if it is just part of an overall announcement that LEGO has now secured the/a Pokémon license, it is either way an exciting possibility.

The collaboration would be a timely one with the new Game Boy set on the way this year and the new Pokémon Legends: Z-A inbound in 2025, and likely on Switch 2, but all signs point to the LEGO Pokémon sets launching in 2026, if today’s teaser is indeed a real one.

None of this is actually confirmed at this point, but if it is a thing LEGO’s legal team is likely setting up an internet-wide dragnet to remove these images from the web quick fast and in a hurry. Scope them out now while you still can.

Pokémon does, or perhaps did, have an exclusive deal with Mega Blocks in the brick built space, but it would appear things might be changing and let’s face it, just about no one wouldn’t rather the pocket monsters to find a true home at LEGO.
