We are tracking some seemingly notable price drops on Samsung’s latest Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro right – they are down at $139.99 and $209.99, respectively, on Amazon and you’ll find even lower prices on “International Versions” via Woot right now. Some of these offers are matched directly on the Samsung site as well, down from the regular $180 and $250, but the question is are they actually as good as they might seem at a glance?
Consider this a bit of a deal PSA.
There’s nothing wrong with saving $40 on a brand new pair of Galaxy Buds 3 or Galaxy Buds 3 Pro – the base model set is $40 off on Amazon and the pro set is $40 off directly from the Samsung site where you’ll also get a FREE case with purchase – but only if you really must have them right this second.
You will also find a series of International Version listings floating around on Woot right now as part of its latest Best of Tech sale – there are some other great deals in this sale, but there are a few things to keep in mind with the International Version Galaxy Buds 3 or the Buds Pro 3 at $129.99. These listings are at lower prices for US buyers than the deals you’ll find on the proper US versions, but according to several reports across the net, there can be connection problems with US smartphones and you certainly won’t be getting the 2-year US warranty with those. Some reports even suggest that Samsung will not offer any support at all to US customers trying to get some with an International set of buds.
All of that said, some folks just don’t care and would rather just take the chance, score the deal, and hope they never need to leverage the warranty. Fine with me, but consider yourself informed and operating at your own risk.
Now let’s talk bundles – we have seen a plethora of deals on Samsung gear that knock these buds down to insane prices, sometimes they are even FREE. Plenty of folks just scooped a new Galaxy S25/Ultra up and scored the Galaxy Buds 3/Pro at anywhere from completely FREE to just $30 or so. We very much expect deals like this to pop up again throughout the year.
You usually have to spend more cash to get these sorts of bundle offers and likely will again, but we also expect Samsung to have even lower straight up cash deals on these buds in the coming months as well. Unlike, say, something like AirPods where Apple will never offer a lower price than Amazon and the major retailers, Galaxy Buds 3 or Galaxy Buds 3 Pro could go for less direct.
Again, there’s nothing wrong with scoring a set right now at $40 off – that’s not a bad straight up cash deal all things considered, and some folks might even want to take a shot with the International Version listings, but chances are you’ll be able to score these buds for dramatically less throughout the year if you plan on buying any other major tech from Samsung.
