Kojima reveals release date for Death Stranding 2, new 10-minute trailer, pre-orders, collector’s edition, more

While Kojima fans might have the new Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater on the top of their mind right now, the famed video game auteur has been hard at work readying the release of Death Stranding 2, and we now have the official release date, details on pre-orders, a new 10-minute trailer, and a look at the epic new Collector’s edition too. 

Hideo Kojima took to the stage last night in a special SXSW sit-down where he revealed the release date of the upcoming Death Stranding 2: On the Beach alongside a special pre-order trailer he directed himself, details on the Collector’s edition, and more. 

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is now set to officially release on June 26, 2025 with pre-orders set to kick-off on March 17, 2025 at 10 a.m. local time.
