Mario Day 2025, or MAR10, is just around the corner now, and it looks like this year’s bundle has already “leaked” at Best Buy. In fact, you can already buy it right now. While this year’s Mario Day celebration might be a touch underwhelming for some considering it’s going to land roughly a month before the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct showcase and subsequent pre-orders for the next-generation console, but Nintendo clearly thinks its current-generation OLED console still has some fire left in it as the new Super Mario Bros. Wonder bundle is now up for sale at $349.
Mario Day 2025 Super Mario Bros. Wonder Switch console bundle?
Every year on March 10, Nintendo and the rest of the Mushroom Kingdom celebrate Mario Day. It is usually a whimsical, if not mostly pointless, celebration of the world’s most famous plumber, but it can sometimes usher in some great deals on Switch games, new hardware bundles, and in year’s past, completely new games and special edition hardware like the Game & Watch re-releases.
While we don’t know exactly know what will be on tap this year – it’s going to be hard for Nintendo to make much of a splash now that Switch 2 is on everyone’s mind, it does look as though this year’s official Mario Day Switch console bundle has landed well ahead of time. As of right now Nintendo hasn’t made an official announcement, but most folks believe this new OLED Switch Super Mario Bros. Wonder bundle to be part of the Mario Day 2025 celebrations, and we tend to feel the same.

It’s hard to get excited over a “new” Switch 1 bundle at this point, never mind dropping $350 on one, but Nintendo clearly has some extra OLED stock to be rid of before the shiny new Switch 2 arrives. Let’s just hope this is just the beginning of the 2025 Mario Day festivities and Nintendo has something interesting in the warp pipe for fans waiting on Switch 2 to get excited about.
This bundle initially leaked courtesy of a more than reliable Nintendo leaker, but we don’t need to worry about that now that Best Buy has confirmed its existence.
The bundle, as I’m sure you’re imagining, includes a voucher for a digital copy of Super Mario Bros. Wonder, the red/blue OLED Switch console, and a three-month membership to Nintendo Switch Online, all for $350. This is basically $70 in savings, and it releases on February 27, we just aren’t sure very many folks will care – you might want to save your gold coins for the new Switch 2 instead.
