Go, go, go, the new Satechi Mac mini M4 Stand & Hub with SSD Enclosure is now available for purchase. Back in early January, Satechi – one of our favorite Apple accessory makers – officially revealed all of the details on its latest M4 Mac mini add-on and today marks your first chance to score one. While full availability doesn’t actually kick off until March, Satechi has a limited number of units up for purchase starting right now – they are likely to sell out quickly.

While the early run of the new M4 Mac mini accessory was initially scheduled to go live later this month on the 17th, Satechi has moved things forward. It tells us the new Mac mini M4 Stand & Hub with SSD available for purchase starting right now on its official site and that stock will be quite limited during this early run, especially considering the number of pre-order sign-ups it has received since the device’s official reveal and subsequent appearance at CES 2025.

For those unfamiliar, the new Stand & Hub is a redesigned version of the original that was among the more popular add-on accessories for the now previous-generation M2 Mac mini. The brand has re-worked the form-factor to fit neatly underneath of Apple’s new even-more-mini Mac mini with the M4 chip.

Crafted in the USA, the new aluminum Mac mini M4 Stand & Hub with SSD features a heavily Apple-inspired look and feel, almost as though it is some kind of factory extension straight from Cupertino.

Designed to expand the M4 Mac mini’s I/O capabilities while still retaining access to the power button, it features a 312MB/s onboard 4.0 UHS-II SD card reader as well as the reintroduction of a pair of front facing USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, a single USB-A 2.0 port, and a M.2 NVMe SSD Enclosure that runs at up to 10Gbps (NVMe Compatibility includes 2230/ 2242/2260/2280 form-factors). It connects to your Mac mini via a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 host cable.
