While the more than notable $200 price drop is still live on the base model 14-inch M4 MacBook Pro, as well as a giant $400 discount on the monster M4 Max config we featured yesterday, folks looking towards a 16-inch M4 Pro machine in the early days of 2025 will want to take note of the discounted pricing at Amazon right now. Regularly $2,499, Amazon has both the silver and Space Black 16-inch M4 Pro MacBook Pro with 24GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD down at $2,249 shipped. This deal is also matched at B&H. That’s $250 off and the lowest price we can find.
For comparison’s sake, Best Buy is offering this model at $2,399 right now with its paid Total member pricing down at $2,279 – clearly not as good as the Amazon price. We did see this configuration drop down to $2,199 during the Black Friday festivities for a brief time, but today’s deal is otherwise the best price we have tracked since the machine’s debut in October.
The 16-inch machine is perhaps a less universally desirable option than the more compact 14-incher, but for folks looking to land a model with the larger screen, be it for more real estate in general or creative projects (video editing, Logic Pro, and so on), there’s nothing quite like bringing home a gorgeous 16.2-inch Liquid Retina XDR Display and saving $250 in the process.
The model we are featuring today is the most affordable 16-inch M4-equipped MacBook in the lineup – there is no 16-inch M4 standard – and now with the upgraded 24GB of RAM to boot.
