Spigen was one of the first out of the gate with a new Nintendo Switch 2 accessory up for sale, and we have just spotted another one from the brand, the Nintendo Switch 2 Dual Grip. Trading out the fabric-wrapped travel-style encasement we saw on its $35 Klasden Carrying Pouch with an AirTag compartment, the Dual Grip comes in the form of a pop-on cover that both protects the device from scratches while delivering some bonus grip and leaving it entirely playable at the same time. Now available for purchase via the brand’s official Amazon storefront at $35 Prime shipped, you can get a closer look and more details below.

Spigen Nintendo Switch 2 Dual Grip – ‘Twice the grip. Twice the fun’

Spigen describes its new Dual Grip Switch 2 case as being “optimized on-the-go gaming” with a tactical design that delivers an “ergonomic grip for comfortable gameplay all day.”

It is made from a combination of tough PC and TPU materials with “precise” cutouts for “joysticks, buttons, triggers, D-pad, game card, speakers, and charging port.” Clearly this is a case made to safeguard your machine while you’re playing it. but Spigen also mentions that it’s compatible with Switch 2 and the Switch 2 dock, so you’ll presumably be able to leave the Dual Grip installed on your machine while it’s docked at home as well.

Nintendo Switch 2 release date might have just leaked…could be landing sooner than you think

Spigen also mentions that it does not get into the way of Switch 2’s upgraded and seemingly more stable kickstand – you’ll be able to perch up your Switch with its kickstand while the Dual Grip is in place.

Much like the Klasden Carrying Pouch, the listing for the Dual Grip also lists the exact dimensions of the new accessory: 11.0 x 4.73 x 1.39 inches.

How much bigger will Nintendo Switch 2 actually be? Here are some size comparisons to give you an idea

This would seemingly lineup with the early leaks other accessory makers (Dbrand) has given us, further substantiating the actual size of the machine. As detailed in our feature piece, Dbrand said the Switch 2 is 270mm wide, 116mm tall, and 14mm thick. That puts the Switch 2 at around 10.62 inches across, leaving just enough room for the Dual Grip to wrap around its edges. It would seem the early leaks were right on point here, unless Spigen and the Amazon listing just made up some random numbers.

The new Spigen Dual Grip Nintendo Switch 2 case is now available for purchase at $34.99 Prime shipped
