Clearance pricing has LG’s 120Hz C3 OLED smart TV at $1,400 under the launch price right before the Super Bowl

There’s nothing like a brand new LG OLED smart TV landing in your living room, basement, or game room – they are some of the most beloved options out there for a reason. Scoring one of the latest models is a more than pricey proposition, that’s for sure. But if you’re anything like me, landing a previous-generation model delivers a ton of value and just about all of the specs and features you’ll ever need. And now, Amazon is offering the wonderful 65-inch LG C3 Series OLED evo 4K smart TV down at $1,196.99 shipped – that’s one of the best prices we have tracked all-time. 

While this model is listed with a regular price at $1,500 these days, and rightfully so, you are looking at a display that originally launched at $2,600 – today’s deal is over $1,400 less than that. Even if you factor in the price it typically fetched over the last year or so (roughly $1,500), this is still a notable deal on par with the best we have seen on Amazon. 

Now we should also mention that this model has been superseded by the evo C4 Series with a largely similar feature set where it really counts. That one also debuted in the $2,600 range (albeit not by very much, but light deals hit quite soon after release on these TVs so the actual MSRP is largely irrelevant in some cases), and now fetches just under $1,500 at Amazon. You’re likely seeing the pattern here – they start at over $2,500, settle down into the $1,500 range several months later, and if you’re willing to wait long enough, much lower than that like today’s C3 offer. 

The C3 delivers on all the specs you’ll likely care about most – a beautiful LG OLED display that runs at a native 120Hz with Dolby Vision, HDR10, Dolby Atmos, and some notable upgrade to your gaming setup (VRR and ALLM). Support for Amazon’s Alexa and Google Assistant are also in place alongside the HDMI 2.1 input. 

In other words, this is a seriously sweet OLED upgrade right before the Super Bowl, March Madness, the Switch 2 launch or whatever other gaming setup your running, all at clearance pricing.
