The iPhone 14 might not be quite as exciting a device as it once was, but if you’re not bothered with the latest features and the USB-C port, or perhaps looking for something for the kids, or something along those lines, for today only Best Buy is offering the entry-level unlocked iPhone 14 in brand new condition at $579.99 shipped. This model originally launched at $799 and is now $219 less – you can land it for $529.99 at Best Buy today if you set it up with a carrier during checkout or at $516 in open-box condition.
Okay, we very much get it…it’s an iPhone 14, and not even the Pro model we just featured as still being worth your time. But we are also talking about a perfectly capable handset for just about anyone that doesn’t require the latest and greatest – there was, after all, a time not all that long ago when millions of folks rushed to score the new iPhone 14.
And as any avid gadgetnewsonline reader will know, landing straight up discounts on brand new unlocked iPhones is extremely rare – it almost never happens. We do see notable refurbished offers on models both one and two generations back, but brand new cash deals like today’s don’t come around all that often.
No one is suggesting the iPhone 14 can keep up with the newer pro models and certainly not iPhone 16, but again, something for the kids or younger folks, for someone’s first iPhone, or something of this nature, it p[robably makes more sense to sidestep the pricey newer models anyway.
