Best Buy has now launched a somewhat surprising early 2025 Member Deals Days sale – its version of Amazon’s Prime Day. Just as Amazon’s bi-annual Prime Day events have become some of the most popular discount shopping events of the year, Best Buy has been hosting its own Member Deals Days competitor sale events and the first one of 2025 is now live.

While, much like Prime Day, Best Buy’s Member Deals Days evens are largely a way to entice folks to jump into its paid membership tiers in order to score deals on other perks from the national retailer. Having said that, these events can and do indeed yield some serious savings for members on a wide range of tech, smart home, and other goods and gadgets.
While the yearly membership fee – these deals are only available to the paid My Best Buy Plus and sometimes only Total members – could offset any savings you might be receiving, it really depends on the items you’re after. These sales can yield hundreds in savings and do add a ton of the value to securing a membership in some cases, not to mention the fact that there are already a ton of folks (ourselves included) already invested in the Plus and Total plans.
Best Buy has launched a new dedicated sale page for its first 2025 Member Deals Days events, but you’ll find thousands of items across the site seeing bonus discounts for members on just about any day of the week at this point. As for the latest sale event, it will run from now through Sunday, January 26, 2025.
Alongside $120 off Galaxy Watch Ultra, 35% off select PC gaming gear (some of which included $50 Best Buy gift cards), and smart TV offers, one of the highlight deals on tap in the featured deal section for Total members features a straight up 30% price drop on Samsung Galaxy Ring – the brand’s latest health and fitness tracking ring wearable.
Regularly $400, the Samsung Galaxy Ring has only really ever seen a few discounts up until now and nothing quite as good as the $120 off Best Buy Plus and Total members are privy to as part of the sale. That drops the total spend down to $279.99 shipped on all three colors (black, silver, and gold) and in just about every size.
Again, we have seen some straight up deals on Galaxy Ring via Amazon that anyone can take advantage of, but they have only come in seemingly intermittent size and color options – usually only the largest and very smallest sizes. Over on the official Samsung site they are still up at full price with a potential $100 trade-in credit if you have some gear to flip.
