One of the best and most useful items I have added to my EDC over the last year has been a Find My wallet tracker card. I don’t want to have to choose one of the wallets that have Find My built-in as I still like to carry a traditional card holder in my pocket, as opposed to a bifold or a MagSafe solution, and a Tiny tracker car is the perfect way to add the Apple location tech to my, or anyone’s, preferred traditional wallet. The higher-end wallet tracker cards, like the Nomad model for example – here’s our hands-on review, tend to deliver one extra feature you don’t get on the ultra-affordable models, wireless MagSafe charging.
And while that is very much the case with the new UGREEN SmartTrack Find My Card, one might argue the charging aspect of these types of cards is really not the most important part.
We do, however, highly recommend a rechargeable model – some options are just dead weight once the internal battery dies – but considering UGREEN’s SmartTrack Card battery lasts for roughly a year before you need to pull out the included charging cable and plug it in, spending double the price for a MagSafe charging model might not be worth it for some.
The more important part, at least for me, is that it’s super slim and delivers on all of the usual Find My features – Left Behind notifications, audible chimes, Siri action, and a waterproof design just in case. The new UGREEN Find My wallet card tracker does just that.
You simply load it up into the Find My app on your iPhone and it’s ready to roll for up to year at a time before you need to pull out its magnetic charging cable to juice it back up again.
