Apple’s AirPods Pro 2 see first deep price drop of the year at $180 shipped (Reg. $249)

Apple’s AirPods Pro 2 have dropped down to $179.99 shipped at Amazon and Best Buy today. Regularly $249, this is $70 off to deliver nearly 30% in savings and the lowest price we can find. If you happened to have missed out on the Black Friday offers last year, this is the lowest price we have tracked since they jumped back up in price in early December, making for a notable chance to land a set to support your 2025 workout regimen, or just to refresh your aging pair.

We did see some wild price drops on AirPods Pro 2 for Black Friday last year, first to $170 and then down to the impressive best ever at $154. I don’t think anyone expected them to drop down that low, or even below $169, for the shopping festivities last year and it’s hard to imagine them falling anywhere under $160 over the next several months. We only saw them fall below $190 a few times last year – the first coming in mid-summer, so anytime these sought-after in-ears land at a price like today they are worth consideration.

While Apple did unleash the all-new AirPods 4 sets last year – now at $119 without ANC and $168 with, the AirPods Pro 2 with the MagSafe USB-C charging case we are featuring here today remain the latest and greatest flagship set in the lineup.

Alongside the new Voice Isolation tech and the ability to “simply nod your head yes or shake your head no when Siri asks if you’d like to hear a message, answer a call, or manage a notification,” AirPods Pro 2 also saw four major new features land last year in the form of active Hearing Protection joined by the Hearing Test action, Hearing Aid support, and Media Assist – a full rundown on these awaits right here

While details are still thin, the new AirPods 3 are indeed expected to hit in the fall later this year, and you’ll find all of the details we have organized in this post

Apple AirPods Pro 2 features:
