Update: Amazon has now dropped the price again on Apple’s most affordable 2-port M4 iMac down to $1,194 shipped – that’s $105 off the going rate and the best we can find on all four colorways.

While the entry-level 2-port, 8-core model is now starting at $1,199 ($100 off), or $50 above the lowest we have tracked, there are some of the more affordable 4-port, 10-core M4 iMac configs seeing notable price drops today. Regularly $1,499, you can land the 10-core model with 16GB of RAM and the 256GB SSD starting from $1,369 shipped. That’s $130 off and the lowest price we can find, coming within $20 of the all-time low we spotted previously only on select colorways.

Apple M4 iMac deals

Apple’s latest M4 iMac remains the most impressive, and sweetest-looking all-in-one desktop machine out there if you ask me. Delivering a similar form-factor as the previous-generation model, outside of the new color treatments, it features a 24-inch 4.5K Retina Display alongside base models that start with 16GB of RAM, the new 12MP Center Stage camera, and matching peripherals that now finally feature USB-C charging ports.

There are two variants in the lineup – the more powerful 10-core model and the entry 8-core. Beyond the internals, the main difference is the 4-port USB-C setup on the higher-end variants by comparison to the 2-port I/O on the 8-core.
